Kung Fu Panda 3 hits theaters today, but my family and I
were lucky enough to snag an invitation to a local red carpet premiere a couple
of weeks ago and excitedly went to the theater to watch it before it was
released.
We have always been a fan of the Kung Fu Panda movies, so
naturally the kids were very excited to see movie number 3. I went mostly for
the kids at first, with no idea that I would end up loving this animated feature
so much!
In the movie, ‘Po’s long lost panda father suddenly
reappears, and the duo travel to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of
hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to
sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible
- learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become
the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!’
The movie was wonderful for families of all ages - it
entertained all three of the kids, and my husband and I enjoyed it very much.
It has action, humor, and a feel-good story. The movie also touches on a
subject that I don’t think has been brought up too much in the past: biological
and adoptive parent relationships.
This movie is definitely one that we are going to watch
again and again! If you are looking to make some fun memories with your family
this weekend I would recommend checking out Kung Fu Panda 3 together.
