A Portland Play Date.

Last weekend my dear friend Carolyn and I took Emma and Carolyn's niece Gracie to the Portland Holiday Food and Gift Festival. It had been a long time since I had done something with just Emma, and I know how important it is to maintain individual one on one time with each child.

The two five year olds had so much fun on a shopping play date together.

We've attended the Holiday Food and Gift Festival a couple of times before and its the start of a new tradition for us to ring in the Holiday season.

I always walk away with some great local finds ranging from jams and chocolates, caramel apple and wooden toys, and even a bottle of Crater Lake Hazelnut Espresso infused vodka (it is that good).

We were tired after the day, but had fun and all made memories.
