I am writing this post in exchange for a discounted conference ticket; however, all opinions are mine and mine alone. #SoFabUOTR #Cbias
I don't very often write about blogging on my blog - but I know that some of you who read my posts have a blog as well, so I'd like to invite you to a fun conference with a company that I work with a lot called Collective Bias®.
Collective Bias is the only shopper social media company that solves shopper marketing problems by weaving together organic social content with engaging, real-life stories to generate millions of impressions, increased share of voice, SEO and retail sales for brands and retailers, and Collective Bias was named one of America's 25 Most Promising Companies by Forbes and a part of the Inc. 5000.
Social Fabric® is Collective Bias' propietary community of nearly 3,000 shopping-focused influencers with an aggregate multichannel reach in excess of 130 million. In other words, they help bloggers like myself partner with brands to work with and then I as a blogger get to share my stories and recipes with you as well as share some fabulous products as well.
It's pretty much a win-win situation for everyone - and it's one of the ways that I can have the ability to work mostly from home.
Anyways, they are holding a series of one day blogging conferences throughout the year, each location varying in topics, but all will be very educational (and fun!) for fellow bloggers!
"SoFabU on the Road is a unique event that allows influencers like you to take advantage of educational opportunities that will help set you apart from the rest of the influencers.
As conference goers ourselves, we saw a post-conference trend happening - the long to-do list of ideas was set aside and never implemented. SoFabU on the Road features hands-on, interactive sessions for influencers like you to implement what you're learning on the spot. The sessions are paired with a fun city-specific adventure where you'll get to put your newly learned skills to test. Join us as we take SoFabU on the Road to a city near you! Events are open to all bloggers and influencers!"
SoFabU will be coming to Seattle April 18th and I'd love for you to join me and meet some other bloggers! It will be held at The Crowne Plaza and is sponsored by Johnny Rockets, Müller, Kraft and iBl og. The speaker in Seattle will be Andy Hayes, who is the founder and creator of Plum Deluxe, a website that helps you create moments that matter. Andy is a published author, prolific writer, tea lover, public speaker, and he is based in Portland, Oregon. He's been featured in sites and magazines such as CNN, Wall Street Journal, and National Geographic - he is known for his fresh ideas on living a good life.
You can check out the complete agenda on the SoFabUOTR website, as well as information from the other cities that it will be held at throughout the year.
There is only room for 50 attendees so I'd reserve your spot quick!
